Choose your fabric
Pick from a wide variety of upholstery fabrics in the workshop, with Gina's advice on what will wear well for how the piece is used.
Strip back and rebuild
Old covers and tired fillings come off, then joints, springs, webbing and foam are repaired or renewed as needed.
Re-covered by hand
Your fabric is cut, fitted and finished by hand, with piping, buttoning and studs where the piece calls for them.

The fabric makes the piece. Gina has a wide variety of upholstery fabrics to choose from at the workshop, from velvets and florals to plains, tartans and stripes, and she'll steer you towards something that suits the piece and how it's used.

Where is Gina's Galway Upholstery?
The workshop is at Carnmore West, Carnmore Cross, Co. Galway, H91 W3V6, a short drive from Galway city, Oranmore, Claregalway and Athenry.
How do I get a quote?

Can I choose my own fabric?
Gina has a wide variety of upholstery fabrics to choose from in the workshop. If you already have a fabric in mind, mention it when you send your photos.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 10am to 2pm. Closed Sunday.
Do you do commercial upholstery?
Yes. As well as furniture for the home, Gina takes on commercial jobs. One business owner's Google review describes her team upholstering their equipment over a weekend to avoid any impact on trade.
